Rumor: "Untitled Spiderman PS4 Project" incoming - NeoGAF

Is it finally happening?  From Twitter:

It's been too long since last leak. Here's one. Sony is working at "Untitled Spiderman PS4 Project". Trailer incoming (E3 2016?).

So we will hopefully see by E3! I searched and could not find anything....toss me out like an empty web cartridge if so! Edit:  This is definitely a rumor!  With Activision supposedly having the rights still and not being able to verify a legitimate source past NerdLeaks this is a definite wait and see but still good for conversation.  Sony fix your dang leaks!

Sucker Punch and Spiderman would be a pretty smart idea actually, good games attached to such popular IPs can become truly massive, just look at the Arkham franchise or even some old Spiderman games (according to the chertz at least).

I'm not sure SM is a good fit for that. He needs open world

I never said he needed one.  I said he needs level with said open world.  The original PSX Spider-man game was such an amazing game because of it.

But I really really really hope sucker punch isn't the dev if this is true. I want another infamous game from them. If they aren't making a new infamous I want a new IP, not some stupid spider man game

The leak comes from the resume of well-known actor and stuntman, Stephen Oyoung, who lists he's performed motion capture for "Untitled Spiderman PS4 Project" for Sony.

On one hand I want Sucker Punch to work on their own or new IPs. On the other hand, Sucker Punch is one of the few studios I trust to make a great comic book game.
