It's crazy how bad it's getting over there. Even the awesome projects like james webb are so poorly managed.

Simple example from this article is the shuttle engine. NASA has some left over so they are using them on their new rocket. Yet getting them ready for flight is costing hundreds of millions more than it cost to build them in the first place, inflation adjusted.

Another example is the launch tower for sls block 1b. It is costing billions of dollars more than it should, and yet 1b is still a decade away from needing it. Could have just upgraded the current tower.

I'd never say no to giving NASA more money but they really need to wake up and get back on track.
