It's not real, it's just a concept, yet even as a concept it's so incredibly lame.

Eeewwwwwwwwwwwwww. This absolutely better not ever gain traction. Even as a concept fudge AI to do this

Also LOL "Make it more epic". Then proceeds to just make a giant pyramid of boxes. Guess pyramids are all you need to be EPIC

the-pi-guy

 ???

"Make a maze out of cardboard boxes."

That's not a maze!

"Make it more epic"

How does it interpret epic!

A little funny that their concept model is so basic.  ;D

going to have to generally disagree with you guys....

...this isn't a replacement for all video games or anything but the ideas here could be a good foundation for 1 GaaS title to compete with the likes of minecraft or roblox.   and as we've seen those games are very popular.  i think there still needs a more manual way to create stuff but i think about all of the complexity i had to jump though to make even the simplest of LBP levels.    if i could have used "natural language" to get objects to do what i wanted them to do i could have created better levels much faster.   there's room in video games for it to be successful with a certain segment of gamers.

I don't have any problems with the concept. Even for professional games it could be pretty useful under certain situations. For example if all it is doing is pressing ~ and typing in commands behind the scenes, natural language is still nicer for most people.

It's the execution that is funny to me. They're making a fake hype video of what could be possible in the future and yet it is so incredibly lame. It's as if they wanted to please shareholders without getting developers worried.
