Unity cancels runtime fees, raises subscription prices instead

They really are so clueless. I didn't want my subscription price to go up 8%, I was fine with giving them a cut like how other engines handle it. The problem always was that they calculated that cut in a stupid way and illegally tried to make existing games pay it.

Also I think it's funny that Unity is switching back to numbered releases instead of yearly releases. Unity 6 > Unreal Engine 5, facts are facts  ::)

Plus it's funny acting as if the past decade never happened. Unity 5 released in 2015 and they switched to years with Unity 2017.
