Trump is an egotistical idiot and I'm honestly surprised something like this has just now only happened. Man I wish both candidates were not in the running. I do not like either one of them.

Also the conspiracies about it being planned were rampant just minutes after it was breaking news. At this point anything is possible.

This was my exact thought after I saw it. Almost assures him a win. If not I would be very shocked. But as always anything can happen. I'm not even surprised at news anymore.

The conspiracies and speculation at every stage of this have been so stupid. I avoided all the main reddit subs because they're absolutely horrible but I still saw the rabid regurgitation of ideas in real time. Like for example early on there was of course confusion of what happened and for some reason many people kept saying it was an air pump bb gun/rifle. It's not really harmful like all the conspiracies that came later but it was still so weird that so many people were repeating it and acting like they came to that conclusion on their own.
