disappointing but not surprising that the switch successor wont' be talked about.  makes the rumors of a 2025 release feel likely though.   if nintendo is not ready to talk about a switch successor in mid-2024 it's not releasing in 2024.

...dampens my expectations for this show but likely will be a better show than what anyone else brought.   certainly been one of the worst not-E3 seasons in a while imo.

Metroid prime 4 was announced during E3 2017 just a few months after switch released.   

if Metroid prime 4 is not at tomorrow's direct focusing on games releasing in 2024 then  the game won't launch until after the switch successor is released missing the entire generation of hardware.

Echoes of Wisdom. Lame. Play as Zelda which is cool but it's that weird chibi like art style. Also not really a combat game I guess. Zelda can only copy and paste
