The Wayward Realms gameplay trailer and kickstarter launch

The gameplay looks really rough. I'm shocked that they released this video at all, let alone launched a kickstarter with it. Running the game at half speed or quarter speed to get a good framerate in post would have made a world of difference. Even as a developer that understands early footage, it'd just be a lot nicer to watch with a smooth framerate.

Other than that everything looked pretty basic but that's fine. It's a spiritual successor to Elder Scrolls 2 so I really care about all the freedom and possibilities on a larger scale.

At $200,000 of their $500,000 goal. I hope they blow past it.

For $40 it's a fine price if the game ever actually releases and if all I get is a broken alpha with interesting ideas, well it's not the biggest waste.
