Flipping an egg is trivial, cooking perfect spaghetti is trivial, but I'm ashamed to admit I struggle with grilling consistency. Easy enough to get a safe to eat burger/steak with some pink but hard to get the exact amount of pink I like.

Cooking perfect Mac and cheese gives a lot of people trouble.

I feel like grilling is partly an art form. Flare ups seem to happen randomly no matter what.

I can cook a burger how I want it. But I doubt I could cook it how someone else wants it.

I cook a lot,.  the harder the recipe the better. as a chemical engineer it scratches that itch of chemistry lab..

Yummy chemicals.

Not sure what'd be the most complex thing I've cooked. Dessert wise I guess baklava. I make that a fair amount.

Doesn't help that I just go inside until it's time to flip. Fun looking out to see fire shooting out the closed grill.
