SEGA gaming studios from SEGA Sammy, Thunderful, Supergiant Games, Niantic, Playrix, Zynga, Bungie, IO Interactive, and Scopely are named as pitches from Spencer to senior leadership.

IO interactive could have been a good fit. Small studio with a great gamepass game.

Looking at this list, I'm really hoping that Sony still has strong plans for expansion...

I really don't want them to buy IOI because I recently played hitman and loved it.

They also have a Bond game on development, which can turn out to be amazing.

But they are definitely a studio worth buying as I feel they have so much potential

So MS started with a list of ~100 developers + ~10 (small) publishers, then filtered the list down by a variety of factors such as:

- whether they made a new IP
- whether they cater to a new audience
- whether they are expensive

This list of 17 developers is the outcome.

Some of the developers that didn't make the cut:
CD Projekt
Ember Lab (Kena developers)
From Software
Gearbox
Hello Games
Team Cherry

I still wish Sony would grab ember labs.  oh what those guys could do with a AAA budget would be awesome inspiring.
