Journalists and random people alike need to do a better job of not fanning flames and jumping to assign blame.

Oh thank God. I know it might be a mistake and there are many dangers ahead if true, but rescue crews reported hearing banging sounds every 30 minutes. First potentially good news since the sub went missing.

Canadian P-3 aircraft detected underwater noises in the search area. As a result, ROV operations were relocated in an attempt to explore the origin of the noises. Those ROV searches have yielded negative results but continue.  1/2
