a lot of emulation guides recommend I install windows first.  seemed easy enough to due but I didn't see the point. 

pretty much everything I'd want to do on a steam deck was natively supported.  windows just seemed like a waste of space on my SD card for those unwilling to take a tiny bit of effort to learn Linux.
