Are there any games where you are impressed by how few man hours they took to be made?

Now, I think this is a very 2023 thread. Today it seems like most things either take a really long time and/or they have an insane number of people working on them. You could probably pick literally anything from 15 years ago, and it probably would be surprising today.

But still I thought this might be fun.

Apparently Batman Arkham Asylum took less than 2 years with ~60 people.

QuoteDevelopment started with a team of 40, many of whom had been working with UE3 on various game concepts. That team eventually grew to over 60. When the game ships, total development time will be 21 months from start to finish including pre and post-production.

Astrobot Rescue Mission was 1.5 years with 25 people or less

Quote18 months later, and with a peak development team of 25, Astro Bot was born.

Legend

Hellblade was 20 people over 3 years. Used a no cut camera like God of War since they only had one camera for motion capture. Very effective team.
