He basically says that Sony has more first and third party announcements to make. Some of it is stuff we already knew about and some is new. He also seems to be hearing that Microsoft doesn't have much to talk about and that X1 pre-orders are very low in Japan.

Sony going all out. Xb1 is going to fail. Especially with the launch line up it has... yikes

to be fair ps4 hasn't been doing that great either in Japan... and Kinectless Xbox ONE will be a must in Japan as Kinect doesn't seem to be appealing or ideal for gamers there.

The Xbox One's problems are two-fold though. Not only is the Xbox brand pretty much despised in Japan but Microsoft has yet to announce anything that would appeal to consumers there. All Sony has to do is get more Japanese-centric software in the lineup. It's like both of them were given very little equipment, both told to scale a mountain, but Sony was given a shorter one with more places to grab on to.

It is not just Japan to be fair.

MS software development is like Kotaku said six months behind Sony and that is why they don't have any new exclusive game launched since April and first quarter of 2015 is already full of Sony titles and nothing from MS.

They will have a great end of 2015 but Sony too... Sony have better plans for both markets because they are more comfortable in terms of software development.

I remember reading that, MS' first party titles were so bad they had to cancel most of them.  Which got them to open up their check book for Ryse and Dead Rising 3.  They still must not have anything if they paid for Tomb Raider.

Maybe this show will be focused on first party content. Gravity Rush 2 needs to show or else that game will be another tlg/ff13verses
