From what I saw they only managed to appeal to the people who bought all the expansions etc. I had it preordered on Amazon before it was announced but the marketing of it actually put me off, because it seemed like they didn't care about me. Me being the type of person who liked Destiny but not enough to play it for more than a month or so and never bought the expansions.To be fair after TTK they are trying to focus on casual.
7 of my close friends bought Destiny and none of us wanted #2
Destiny 2 is basically the Destiny made for casual... little to no grind, max level fast without never do end of game content, no reason to play Raids, Nightfall, etc.
