When recording gameplay with my headset, I can't hear what I'm saying through the headset

Can anyone help me with this because I've changed everything conceivable but still have this problem. It records my voice just fine but the problem is all I can hear is my muffled voice because the voice audio isn't coming through my headset.

What's your recording setup? Is this the built in PS4 game dvr?
