Is the new God of War Awards-Bait? | ResetEraIt makes some sense with walking simulators and indies just since those are niche and cheaper to make. Doubt many/any are made with that intention but at least it could be possible.

Big AAA games that sell millions though, that just doesn't make any sense.
Also it's amusing that GOW has brought about a lot of discussion about cinematic story focused games even though by far the best thing about it is the combat. I don't think many people dismissing it realise how gamey GOW is.
