Dr. Pezus

I liked the story mostly.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Thought the ending was stupid with him dying in the snow. He was tracked to that location before so it felt like they'd all be caught. Also the robot uprising group did nothing. They just showed up and didn't matter.

The movie might be better because of this stuff, but it didn't feel like the best story telling.

Music was great. It was stupid having it for every random city shot but I loved it. Kept the city from feeling like a known entity.

Did you like the AI relationship? I loved how thought provoking it was.

Spoiler for Hidden:
The replicants have overcome oppression and consider themselves alive, yet they think of AI in the exact same way humans think of replicants.

Spoiler for Hidden:
huh, did he die in the snow? I just saw him lie down. Didn&#39;t think it looked like he died. Also yeah, the replicant uprising stuff might be there for the sequel <img src="https://vizioneck.com/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif" alt=";&#41;" title="Wink" class="smiley">. I didn&#39;t think they needed to show more of that in this movie

And yep, replicant vs ai was interesting. Also,
Spoiler for Hidden:
dat naughtiness scene
was something else hehe

The music during the city scenes was so good, it really set the mood.

BananaKing

spiderman was fine. better than the last 2 though, thats for sure

You cannot be serious
Which ones do you consider great?

I enjoy most of the Marvel movies but they're just generic action flicks more or less. Great movies (on my own scale) tend to be more than that.

Pretty much all the Captain Americas, especially 2. Guardians of the galaxy and Spiderman homecoming I consider to be great films

Then it's official. You have bad taste in films.

Wait what are your favorite games?

Rented spiderman homecoming. Rant warning.

That was really stupid. It felt like a poor man's antman. Fun scenes and enjoyable parts but the definition of average. Without Michael Keaton, this would be like the new fantastic 4 or near the recent power rangers.

Probably the worst spiderman movie and for now the worst spiderman. It might have a lot to do with them skipping his origin story and not giving enough time to develop Peter, but he just felt so uninteresting.

Also didn't like the tech focus. I know the spider web is tech based in the comics, but this movie made him feel like Iron Man. There were no stakes when he was in the suit. Plus he felt like a test subject of Tony Stark. IE Iron Man is all powerful and just dicking around by putting a kid in one of his machines.

Writing felt forced like they were making a comedy focused film. CGI was cheap looking and distracting at times, but I'm probably an outlier for noticing it so much during the film.

It was enjoyableish but just so much worse than the other two spiderman sets. Even among Marvel films I'd rank it low.

4/10

Nah your wrong^

By far the funnest and most enjoyable peter for me.  I absolutely love and think they nailed him feeling amateurish as spiderman even with stark's suit.  The last movies peter's always became an expert in like 5 seconds.

I can't understand why anyone would think that.

The only reason peter wasn't an expert in this film was because he had to deal with not knowing how the suit worked. It wasn't him learning his powers, it was him learning someone else's software.

Yeah I agree. The only thing that bothers me is that he doesn't really have any powers of his own, or anything special about him. He's just learned how to use some advanced tech. I guess that's the theme for most Marvel heroes though, so he fits in.

Or have spidey sense.

Pretty sure they already confirmed he does have spidey sense and that it will be seen in upcoming movies.
