Xbox revenue down 5% due to lower console pricing and lower console sales.
  • Hardware revenue down 26%
  • Software and services revenue up 6%

So counting the slim they are still down from this time last year? There's just nothing they can do. They'll need to take a large hit on scorpio to even keep up at their current pace. The future isn't looking rosy for them.

And you can't really blame the decline on the discontinuation of the 360 because MS did that in FY16 Q4, not this quarter (FY17 Q1).

So unit sales are slightly down yoy. How are they NPD wise? Is this a drop overseas?

It was up YOY on NPD, meaning it had a drop in the ROTW.

Kerotan

Xbox revenue down.  Next year won't be pretty as a number of people hold off for scorpio reveal or launch.

Gaming revenue decreased $110 million or 5%, primarily due to lower Xbox hardware revenue, offset in part by higher revenue from Xbox software and services. Xbox hardware revenue decreased 26%, mainly due to lower prices of consoles sold and a decline in volume of consoles sold. Xbox software and services revenue increased 6%, driven by a higher volume of Xbox Live transactions and revenue per transaction.
I've put the additional info on the OP.

Wow that's a large hardware drop
