I can imagine Bethesda will be on the chopping block if Elder Scrolls 6 ever gets made and fails.  They'll keep ID, but even ID has been quiet since Doom Eternal came out.

I'm sure it did. Plus it'll keep getting subscribers since every update can have people shout "come back everyone, it's fun now!" like with NMS, Fallout 76, and Cyberpunk.

We're gonna find out in due course but I think its evident word of mouth has killed any Starfield momentum. I think Xbox will be happy with initial impact but there will most likely be concerns about its longevity.
