For MS this seems to be above Phil Spencer's pay grade.
is that a surpise?  with nadella talking about it several times it was pretty clear spencer wasn't "going it alone" on this one.

like i said somewhere,.. i don't see spencer losing his job over this.   i could see him getting replaced but not specifically because of this.

I know I said it earlier, but it's so bizarre to me how little faith MS fans have in Xbox.

Not a surprise to me, just was surprised by Legend's questioning.

I could see Spencer losing his job over the Xbox hardware or software management, but not the Activision stuff.

To loosely quote national treasure, someone has to get fired.

Also I don't predict he'll get fired. I just wonder if he'll get fired.

I don't think Phil Spencer is stealing the declaration of independence.   ;D

Guess he got a bit confused though and went to the wrong Washington.

Quote"Basically, this is Microsoft and Brad Smith throwing their toys out of the pram after they didn't get the decision they wanted after all the lobbying they did," said Max von Thun, director of the Europe office of the Open Markets Institute, a proponent of stronger antitrust enforcement.

"They're struggling to maintain that 'good guy' reputation," von Thun said.

Oh good it wasn't just me that thought that about your Brad Smith quote.

Oh lulu! Her tweets are just insane.  Now she's touting that Ukraine approved the merger and made the right call. Cause Ukraine doesn't have anything else to actually worry about than deliberate on this stupid deal. /s

The amount of replies to her are just as insane.  There's not a single world where this deal should go through.

Well good lord no wonder Sony doesn't want this deal. Like holy shame that's a terrible deal for one of PlayStations top selling games

I can't believe someone didn't leak this detail. That's comically bad.

There's a reason nintendo, nvidia, and others signed the deal.  They currently don't have those game on offer anyway and they don't stand to really lose out on revenue, so it wouldn't matter to them.
