I hope that's not all they discuss in terms of games

They predict:

- PS Vita TV comes West and gets rebranded as PlayStation TV
- Some kind of backwards compatibility or emulation of PS1 and PS2 games will be announced
- PS3 price drop to anywhere from $130 to $200 depending on the package
- The Last Guardian is re-revealed and is now for PS4
- Grand Theft Auto V porting up to current consoles
- A major Xbox One exclusive will be announced for PS4 and will either be Dead Rising 3 or Titanfall despite past contracts
- Uncharted 4 will be shown off but not releasing this year
- The Last of Us Remastered will be announced as releasing the week of E3 or the next week
- A healthy amount of Japanese-developed games will be shown
- More Indie titles will be shown to further make a point of a big weakness of the Xbox One

Likely not. One thing both Sony and Microsoft have made clear is that they are paying attention to social media. What is being said by the fans. What the reactions have been to various announcements and how people felt about the different events and conferences. Last year, Sony had to spread themselves out quite a bit. The reveal event, E3, Gamescom, the SCEJA press conference and TGS, and then of course the launch event. Sony had tons to announce but over the course of 5 or 6 events in one year that you make announcements in that definitely makes the individual events feel lighter. They only had so much to talk about in one year.

This year Sony is back to the usual rotation. There is no reveal event or launch event this time. Most of what Sony announces at E3 will likely be the first time it's officially confirmed and shown. If I'm Sony, I know that I won't be given another one-two punch with price and policies like last E3. No easy punches. I need to come hard with the games this time and make sure that what I'm showing is exciting and make as little filler reveals as possible. This E3 is more crucial than I think some people realize. If Sony drops the ball this early in the game they could find themselves in quite a struggle. Especially if Microsoft has a great E3 showing and announces a price drop. Sony can't afford to screw this up. They need to destroy, once and for all, the idea that the console " haz nuh gaemez".

Vita TV, and Dead Rising 3 would be amazing! Although it could possibly end up being Ryse. Titanfall I know for sure will come to the ps4, unless MS shells out a ton of money. I initially predicted that Titanfall would be coming to the ps4 in the fall. Unless Star Wars battlefront is coming out this year I don't really see EA missing out on their fall shooter sales. Personally, I'd rather have dead rising 3 though as there are enough shooters already on the ps4...

Crytek is not a EA studio... they are independent.

But I think MS own the Ryse's IP.

I wasn't sure about them since they always seem to be published by EA

Honestly I'm pretty sure Sony knows they need to kill it at E3 with games including first party and third party.  Even indies.  I do fully expect The Last Guardian to be re-revealed, Sony Bend to show their game, and QD to show a teaser/full trailer for their new game with a bigger demo at gamescom.  Uncharted, The Order, DriveClub, and destiny being show is freaking obvious.  Assassin's Creed Unity will be at Sony's conference probably too.  Project Beast could be E3, but it could be TGS too or both.

Last Year Sony announced Killzone, Knack, Infamous, Drive Club, The Order and Uncharted for PS4. this year they have announced none yet. they also have a good number of games in the works to be shown.

GG's new IP.
MM's new IP
Sony Bend's game (hopefully a new ip)
Project Beast
Quantic Dreams New IP
The Last Guardian (lol)

those are all games that could realistically be shown at this years E3. do i think they will all be shown at E3 this year? no but i hope for more than one to be shown like last year.
