I kind of panic bought this anime called 86.

- Got pulled off Crunchyroll Streaming (no longer available through a subscription).
- Blu-ray disc sold out on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Gruv.

Currently, there's an import for $60 on Amazon.

Barnes and Noble seems to be the only place that has it.

Which is a little funny, because it was $20 last week...

Someone was mentioning Full Metal Alchemist (2003). I think that's an easy top 5 anime for me, but there currently isn't a way to stream it legally.
I do have a legitimate blu-ray set for it. But I'm pretty sure the $70 set on Amazon for it, is a bootleg.

A really big reminder for why I got into this. :'(

About halfway through Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

I feel like there's a big shift. Not bad. But everything is feeling very rushed. I feel like Seasons 1-4, would have made some of these events into entire seasons.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Like Arya going to the Freys to killing them. That probably would have been an entire season arc for her going there and doing it. Instead it's like 5 minutes of S6, her just being there, and then the first 5 minutes of S7, she's poisoned the lot.

There's a fair number of things like that.

The pacing is very different.

There's a fair number of things like that.

The pacing is very different.

yep pacing is very very bad in 7 and 8.

Pacing was too slow in the other seasons, but the writing was great so it was still good.

I remember being so frustrated how long it took for things to happen. Like the whole season of Peter Dinklage traveling.

Well yeah that's true. They swung from slow pacing to astronomically fast pacing. The slower pacing worked better even if there were points that dragged too long

the pacing in the books is slow too. the books are very character driven which is why I like them.
