Watched an anime called Oddtaxi. It was really great.

It has the funkiest plot twist I've ever seen.

Spoiler for Hidden:
A major part of the plot is that the main character is a taxi driver who is really good at recognizing people, and remembering them.

There's a masked singer who gets killed, and someone is taking their place. No one else notices.

Somehow the taxi driver doesn't recognize them.

The show looks like this. Everyone looks like animals.

The big "plot" twist is that none of the imagery is real.

The reason why he's able to recognize people so well, Is because he has a condition so he literally sees
everyone as exaggerated animals.

The show ends with the delusion revealed.

Nice. I'm still bummed I only saw it once in theaters. Better get a 3D release.

I've collected a bunch of anime TV shows from the UK.

There are a bunch of series that extremely sold out in the US, where a season costs like $200, I've seen a few that are worse than that. Sometimes you can find region B blu-rays for like $20-40. Sometimes they are even region A+B. Not even exaggerating. I got S2 of Noragami for $20 for a region B, even though the region A release is $150-$200 on ebay and Amazon.

Unrelated but I started collecting One Piece. I think that will be fun to collect. There are currently about 1000 episodes on disc, out of 1155 episodes ongoing.

Wasn't something I was planning on doing soon, but they had quite a deal on a bunch of the sets. So I bought like 250 episodes.

BasilZero

Watched Venom Last Dance last weekend on Netflix, pretty good but 2nd movie was better.

Not sure what movie I'll watch tonight, i'll know in a bit lol

TV show wise, havent been watching much, still need to watch X-Men (1990) which I stopped around season 2 or 3.

Also need to watch Season 2 of Wednesday, loved season 1.

Aside from that every now and then when my daughter wants to watch something with me so we've been watching Mickey Mouse Club House on Disney Plus. On Episode 7 right now lol.

Mostly been watching anime, speaking of which, this is what I am watching....

Watching:

Mad Men - currently on Season 2.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - about half way through the series.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU - about 5 episodes in.
This anime feels weird. I've watched other shows like it, but somehow it still feels different. It's such a dense show. There's so much dialogue, and a lot of it requires understanding subtext. Kind of silly, but I feel like it's one of the denser shows I've watched.
