Yeah I am pumped for this. I'm buying no matter most likely. I've been dying for another HP game. I loved the Order of the phoenix and half blood prince games when they game out. I wish they were on ps now

...knows absolutely no magic.

it's just awkward as at least as a first year there would be good reason to be learning spells and get sorted by the hat ect.   

instead I'm just the dumbest kid in all of the wizarding world that in 1 year accelerates to the most magical wizard to ever exist.

They said they'd use side quests for you to catch up to the other students hehe. Sounds pretty clever

Ron was only 12. 

and they showed seasons too. 

they could have just had the game last 7 years in-game.  year 1 could have been the tutorial level with house sorting and learning the basics.  the game's main quest line could have been crafted to last 6 years where things open up as you age.  hogsmeade is open to 3rd years for instance. 

I dunno.  it still looks good.  I still think starting school as a 5th year is awkward.
