Do you want another Uncharted game?

I really love the Uncharted series, Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite games ever.

And yet, I don't really feel a need for an Uncharted 5 or anything.

Similarly I'm not really wanting a new The Last of Us.

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!  But i think uncharted, while is great because of nathan drake, can easily be any cool character doing cool globetrotting adventures.   Would it be the same without Drake, maybe not, but people certainly love the franchise

I want another Uncharted but only if it isn't made by Naughty Dog. I'd prefer they'd do a new IP instead.

Uncharted 4 was good but it didn't really jive with me. It suffered from the transition to a more personal and grounded story imo. Plus it decided to repeat the dumb "obsession" plot from Uncharted 3. I don't think I'd be the biggest fan of another studio continuing in that direction.

Uncharted Golden Abyss however was just perfect. It was a fun story that respected the original 3 games while knowing it couldn't compete directly. I'd love another game like that.

one of the things i really like about sony is their willingness to take an incredibly successful IP and just walk away from it.

i love uncharted, really i do.  i will buy the next uncharted if they make another uncharted.  all the same,.. i feel like uncharted 4 put a good closure on nathan drake.  i feel like lost legacy worked great with chloe and nadine but i wouldn't want an uncharted with some rando.   but really i feel like uncharted just has some cliches about it that i don't really want to play for the next 20 years.

i know its possible to reboot a franchise.  GoW did it perfectly.  ...but i kind of just before the uncharted to TLoU transition.   there is a ton in common between these two titles but clearly by ditching everything about uncharted and going in fresh you can take the best of uncharted and mix it was some really fresh ideas without the backlash of not being true to the  franchise that some people get all upset about.  

so that's what i want.  gimme a another adventure title ND but don't just redo uncharted again,.. do something better than uncharted and show me once again why you are the best developer in the industry.

Yes, but not anytime soon. Let ND make something else, something new.

Maybe a new uncharted by another dev, but I doubt they can reach the quality of ND.

The game franchise needs a rest IMO.

It's pretty crazy Uncharted 4 came out 5 years ago already.
