Quite a few people reporting crashing and run ending bugs for the game.

Also it does seem quite common that runs can go on for multiple hours, and there's no save point at any point during them. That just seems like a really bad design decision.

Game just froze on me but didn't crash. I tried to close the game and it got stuck on the closing application screen and wouldn't let me leave it. Had to hold my ps5 power button down for about 20 seconds to get it to turn off and now it's booting in safe mode.

Oof.

If it crashes again mid-run I'm leaving it until it's fixed, game hasn't particularly grabbed me anyway.

Okay well it's grabbing me more now. I was scared it was gonna feel too much like Doom Eternal which was just incredibly unfun to play due to how hectic and intense the fights were.

This game is a similar combat flow but they got the balance right I think now I'm in the swing of using the weapons. And the way it does permanent progression is interesting. Boss 1 down on second try and I never have to fight it again if I don't want to.
