the new arena for the flamelurker boss means i can't clip him into that bone cage anymore it looks like.   it also looks like they got rid of the clipping on the spider boss.  i'm going to have a tough time learning new strategies in this game.   i took the cheap route whenever i could.

Hopefully by the time the second batch of consoles comes.

I have played Dark Souls quite a bit, and a bit of Bloodborne. But there was always something else coming out that would be more my cup of tea, and less trying on my patience.

That being said, I have played a few pretty difficult and punishing games this gen, like Hollow Knight, which is among my top games of current gen list, And Guacamelee 2 for examples, so I feel I am ready to delve into Demon's Souls and endure its kind of design philosophy.

The fact that it's medieval fantasy with this kind of amazing visuals, and it being one of the very few games interesting at launch definitely helps.

You really should get back to Bloodborne when you can, its incredible. I get the feeling Demon's Souls won't feel close to as good as Bloodborne when I play it, it can't match that fluidity in combat (since nothing else has yet anyway).

Its been a while, but I think with lighter armor options Demons Souls does get pretty close.

Light armor, I'll remember that!

Need to start reading some strategies on this game actually. I don't care too much for difficulty, would like to make this as easy as possible for myself by playing a very strong build.

there is no such thing as a strong build in DS.  not trying to ruin you game for you but you need to be prepared to change your build per boss.  there is one boss iin particular that when I finally figured it out it was mind blowing.   obvious but also the least obvious thing a video game has ever done.

remember, brains before brawn.  the most important thing is the correct strategy.  it is what makes demon's souls so good. the souls game kind of lost that along the way.

Yeah but DS has magic and more customization iirc
