Thinking about it, the controller is probably the smallest change since DS1 to DS2 out of any of the 3 console makers.  Even PS3 added sixaxis.  Whereas DualSense is arguably the biggest change on that side of things.  

Quick Resume is great for switching games, but it's not great for during games. And this is pretty much the biggest next gen feature Xbox has. Pretty sure it's even running the same OS?  

Sony's pitch this gen is immersion.
MS's pitch is "the Xbox you've been playing for years, but faster and no Kinect*).

yeah, i agree with all of this.  quick resume is a good thing but going from 1 to 5 is less of an improvement than going from 0 to 1 like we did last gen.  not saying i wont' appreciate it but it's just not as cool.  but like you said, it doesn't actually help when i'm playing a game feel like it's a new thing.

...and i'm pretty sure ps5 has it too based on the OS video we saw.
