You and DerNebel had the closest answers. Basically, they're all single-player games that get hyped up by the Xbox fanbase, but when it is time to walk-the-walk, they don't do it.

Well with the reviews of Recore being pretty shame,  out of the 3 of them I'd only call Sunset overdrive a good game.  

Pity the xbox fans didn't give it the sales it deserved.  Despite being bungled,  given away for free 1 day and on sale for pennies it still didn't manage an impressive total.

I honestly think Microsoft is keeping is keeping Dead Rising alive right now....not in a good way.

But let's just say that it was underwhelming compared to past Gears games (including Judgement) and characters were forgettable.

That doesn't sound great about gears.  judgment was lacklustre but fans can forgive 1 hiccup.  But if 4 turns out even worse or fails to excite the series is iced.  It will have run it's course and I couldn't ever see it rebounding.

Xbox slim is having problems playing a number of UHD Blu-rays.  And there's a small enough selection as it is.  What an absolute fail.  Sony were right to leave this tech for another day.  It's too early.

I thought leaving the UHD Bluray player out of the Pro was a smart business decision, not just in terms of cutting down costs, but also in terms of not catering to an audience that is extremely niche.

While a lot of people are focusing (and getting outraged, for some reason) on House's comment on Microsoft's jabs, it's his statement on how PS4 users favor streaming over physical media by 5 to 1 that is more interesting. Not only that, but Sony is not as invested in UHD Bluray and it was in the Bluray vs. HD DVD format wars. Sure, providing more options is always a good thing, but when the vast majority is not interested in a particular feature, it is not worth the investment.
