Probably.  I'm sure MS might have some videos showing some stuff and then have DF review specs and then slowly show it off up till E3 and then have full hands on for people at e3.

Can't wait for the 56th Forza to be announced.  Milk it dry!

SWORDF1SH

Looking forward to Scorpio reveal. Could be my first Xbox for 10 years. Kinda tempted into buying a Switch also.

Dr. Pezus

Finally graphics will matter again!

QuoteTo clarify for all of you beautiful people.
A major outlet visited Microsoft this week to take a look at Scorpio and its specs, using Forza Motorsport 7 as a showcase.
I've had the information about FM7 being a 4K "showcase" for a while, but it wasn't until a friend of a friend of a friend of a writer at this particular outlet (no prizes for guessing who) leaked the big reveal to me that I considered it confirmed. It made previous information I had make more sense, combined with info I got from what's happening with the Forza guys, etc. Expect a deluge of coverage next week.
The fact MS is showing off Forza and Scorpio now potentially bodes well for E3, hopefully they're going to give us a better idea of what their games line-up will look like in 2018 and beyond, but they're prob going to be cautious with how far out they go, due to the whole Scalebound thing. I think they're aware of the narrative surrounding how their line-up looks like compared to Sony's.
We generally have good info on Microsoft's internal happenings from years and years covering Windows, Surface, Lumia (RIP) and whatnot, as tech press rather than games press.
 Cheers

I was expecting early May but April would be fine by me. Hoping for a black console, a decent price and please bring back a green light on it.

Heard black, but that might've only been dev kits.
Dev kits also have a nifty LCD screen on them for showing devs real-time data, pretty cool./

There's hardly no reason to have an LCD panel for dev use since that information's just pumped into the computer anyway. It'd only be useful for initially setting up the dev environment if problems occur.

So I think that's a very strong sign that the retail version will have a front LCD panel too. Would be kinda cool just to give that premium feel.

And add unnecessary costs even if it's not a lot.  Sounds pointless to have an LCD panel.

I'm just curious what their native 4k games are gonna look like on this.  If they basically force first party devs to be native 4k then I think they will most likely be slightly better than their xbox one versions.  Just slightly better effects.  Vast majority of devs will likely just use the power for res bumps like we have seen on pro.  With little room for smaller updates.  There is still no way this is gonna compete with a 1070 or whatever some people are spouting on gaf.  If it really is a pretty big upgrade and can compete with it then great,  I'd likely trade my xbox one in for a scorpio sometime when it's cheaper.

Is this the slogan you use when you can longer lie about your games being the best?

I found this one amusing

QuoteWe are proud of the diverse lineup of games coming this year that will only be playable on Xbox One and will play better on Project Scorpio

There are no games that fit this description aside from potentially a couple obscure indie games that for some reason are coming to Xbox but not PC.

Definitely need to keep an eye on how much time Microsoft will spend talking about the Scorpio.
