Lets see how long series S lasts for in the US.

Good thing about amazon is we can use the monthly and yearly charts to compare stock levels. Having said that, amazon US still hasn't added PS5 to the video game category it seems and its not showing up on the charts.

Roughly the same, but PS5 was a shadow drop around 10 PM Pacific. Hard to compare outside the charts like xev mentioned.


Series S will be the really interesting one. It has yet to go live, but I don't think it'll sell out for hours. Germany and UK still have stock.

Every GameStop I talked to seems to have half the number of Xbox preorders allocated versus what they had for PlayStation 5.

Series S still available at xbox. If online quantities are PS5>PS5 DE/Series X>Series S like they are at physical gamestops, I think it shows that Microsoft did a really really bad job telling people why they should get a series s.

as that guy from sony said as best as i can remember, "traditionally, lower spec'd skus don't do as well".

it certainly doesn't help series s was leaked on a saturday night.   but also, the machine is a PoS compared to the series x.   who wants to buys Pieces of Ss?

I would have still assumed scalpers or some people who weren't able to get the Series X would quickly pick these up.

It kind of says something that scalpers aren't willing to take a bet on that demand coming through this holiday season.

Definitely lines up from one of my friends that works at gamestop.  They had 6 total for xbox and 10 for ps5.

he specifically said xbox told gamestop its because they are having development issues.

Huh, I wonder why xbox would tell a store that.

If this translates to launch then that's bad for xbox. Selling half in your best market is not the start you want.
