Yeah it could happen. PS4 games charted much, much better and it looks like XB1 has done shame. I'm not sure though

i was thinking about the comparision a few days ago and laughed it off as "wishful thinking" on my part.   ...but seeing the early signs i'm not so sure anymore.  if the first week sales are less than 10k than 319k seems,.. "massive".

It is a bold prediction... I guess Xbox One will do way less than 360 in Japan but I believe ~500k is possible lifetime.

Yeah I'd bet it won't reach that.

360's best year was 350k and it took 360 a little over a year with two holidays to reach 319k.


All signs point to the XBOX ONE doing a lot worse at the starting gate. With the battle in the west, I could see it being forgotten in Japan within two years.

i did a quick back of the envelope calc with the ration of 360 LTD and first week sales.   if you multiply 360's first week sales by 30.3 you get 360's LTD sales.   if Xbox One sales 10k and you multiply that by 30.3 you get less than ps4's first week sales.   if that multiplier is "true" than Xbox One needs to sell 13k to have any hope of ps4's first week sales.

...i'm starting to really like this prediction.  it's just plausible enought to annoy the fudge out of kowen and dirty.  xD
