Should Sony Aquire Ember Labs?

Twice now this team has captured the heart and minds of the internet:

I don't care if Kena turns out to only be an average game,.. this team has some serious talent and they are super young and small still.   with some careful guidance and investment this team can be the next insomniac and sony should be looking to buy them now.

If they are looking for a buyer, sure.

Otherwise I don't think that'd be the best. Way way way too early to think they could be the next Insomniac. Maybe the next thatgamecompany.

Um, no. They have never released a video game.

They'd be really cheap because of it.

I mean they should definitely wait until Kena is actually out. If it is as charming and fun as its trailers make it look, then I'd say sure, they'd be an interesting and inoffensive acquisition.

Doing that would feel be a very uncharacteristic move for Sony however imo.

exactly.   they'd be soo cheap right now.

plus they are already doing an action adventure game so they aren't some 2D side scroller type studio.  an action adventure studio would nicely compliment playstation's current library.   their cinematics are amazing which fits in nicely with playstation studio's MO.  and frankly there aren't many studios with talent left to acquire and sony really needs to expand a bit.   this team clearly has talent.

They wouldn't sell now if they had a good game on their hands.

Also, its premature to buy them.
