There's been similar leaks like this, but I think this is the first usage of Series S as the name.

Xbox Series X|S is an ok way to show support for both systems at least.


So all the packages can switch the X to X|S.

So this is supposed to be announced in the next 2-3 weeks.

Crazy thought:

Sony will have their next conference a week or two after the Xbox conference.  

It's kind of strange that Grubbs knew about the PS state of play I think something like 2 months ahead, and he doesn't know anything about the next event.

And I'm wondering if it might be because they are actually waiting for MS for it.  Letting MS announce their price, and then Sony swoops in the next week.  

Works be kind of funny if the reason he doesn't know is that Sony themselves don't know the date.

Yep this is absolutely the case. Xbox have to announce series S, they can't wait much longer. Sony know they have this, they can wait and go second and make sure they're not caught out on price. Also they're confident on the hype for PS5 and the already announced games so they're in no rush to reveal more either.

If MS had a stronger first couple of showings things might be different, also it seems waiting so long to announce series S may backfire. But we'll see.
