Yeah I'm probably skipping AC this time. Still annoyed at myself for giving Ubi money for Odyssey.

I enjoyed Odyssey a lot more than Origins so I'm hopefull that they are moving in the right direction.

The demo looks meh but the raids in the trailer look like a cool mixup.

Sounds like its just gonna be tedious.

This game looks really rough, animations are all over the place. It also seems that Ubi have learned nothing about open world design.

AC looks very meh, sadly. Setting wasted. Animations very poor, no weight in fighting

Yeah, it looks so bad. If I loved Odyssey I might be more inclined to give it a chance but....

You're right, combat looks just absolutely dire in this, I have no idea what they've done to it to make it so. Combat in Origins was fun enough but Odyssey felt like a step down and this looks like another step down. They're just going in the exact wrong direction with this franchise in so many ways. I guess it works for some people, but I'm out.

I used to call AC my favourite franchise, its such a shame.

i only skimmed though the trailers but they looked very last gen to me.  was that captured on the xbox series x?   i'd assume so since it was at their last game announcement thing and if so it looks very, very cross gen...

Still early, but I think almost everything is going to feel cross gen this year and early next. Will be a kinda lame next gen launch.

i edited my prior post,.. meant to say series x not s.


as of right now horizon and rachet and clank at the only things i'm really excited for on next gen and horizon appears to not be a launch game.   this really does look like the worst launch ever.

Can't blame the studios too much since a lot is happening in the world, but it does feel like the worst launch ever from a next gen point of view.


The Medium might be the only big next gen feeling game out in 2020.
