Closing compulsion sucks cause all studio closures suck, but at least it makes sense. They don't really have a track record or a studio identity.

saw reports saying MS is keeping the option of selling Xbox all together if it came down to it. Don't know how accurate those reports are though

reports were not that they were actively pursuing selling Xbox but that it was in consideration. 

to be frank it would be absurd if it wasn't at least considered.   doesn't mean it will happen.

I have heard rumors but nothing official so far.  

So far the rumors have been soo awful that anything less than closing 100% of their studios is going to feel like a breath of relief..  not sure what to believe.   I thing DF and compulsion and NT make "sense".  Those studios have to be losing money with the terrible sales of their games.
