No i played it at a friends house and it was a lot easiler to play as a monster. Anyways this game could be fun co-op wise but its missing a lot of meat. There are different modes to the game, but call me a monkeys uncle if there basically not the same (4 hunters vs 1 monster). Also the game looks terrible with a lot of texture pop-in.

I was taking a guess.  Haven't played and probably won't play.

That is pretty disgraceful. I have 0 interest in this game anyways

Speaking of which, it looks like Evolve might be a commercial flop. On Amazon US, the X1 version is down to 41st and the PS4 version is down to 53rd. For a game that used to be high profile and just released a couple days ago that's pretty bad. I'm guessing it's out of the top 100 by the weekend and the NPD report next month will be generally bad news for TurtleRock.
Good. Also, it makes me extra happy that MS chose to partner with this game

going around mindlessly killing stupid AI to evolve by yourself. Eh.
Not mindlessly. You need to avoid the players and be tactical

Oh, look, Polygon edited their article. It now says $60. Man, Polygon sucks balls.
DLC for $60 on release is still terrible but it's still less than half of what they originally "estimated".

60$ for DLC if you buy the packs, if you buy everything separately it is 136$.

Indeed. Of course you'd buy the packs

Not if I'm undecided!
I might be all like I just want this one.  Then next week, oh wait this one's good too!

Raven

There is still no reason for Day 1 DLC in that amount for a game that was already lacking in content. Half of that shame should have been a part of the game's progression system.

i was thinking about getting this, but everytime I read this thread I am dissuaded...

Ludicrous Speed

The DLC is entirely cosmetic skins for weapons and characters. And they are making the maps free for all. A fair trade imho, since I couldn't care less about cosmetic DLC.

When you're on a good team who knows what they are doing or playing as a monster against a competent team, there's nothing else on the market quite like it. Got my $60 worth just from some incredibly intense tactical battles already. Can't wait to see what other modes and characters they have in the works.

i share those sentiments. However, when my coworker told me the concept about this game (I was surprised I've never heard of it being that I'm usually in the know of this type of stuff) it sounded really cool. The execution fell flat this time around though.

Max King of the Wild

Almost out of the top 100

Dr. Pezus

Yeah this smells like a commercial flop. Which is extra bad because it's basically online only. Could end up like TF PC version, except on all platforms.

Raven

Out of the Amazon US top 100.
