Well finished KH 1 already.

About 2 hours into KH 2. In some ways the game is a definite step up from the first. And in others, it's a step down.

The story is a definite step down.

I liked the story better to be honest. Though you probably should have played Chain of Memories before 2. That's what I'm on right now. Though to be fair Chain of Memories boss fights are annoying as all hell. I'm playing the game on easy and I don't think I've died so much against bosses in a game before. This includes like Mega Man.

I don't mean the overall story, I mean the stories that take place on each world.

They're still trying to hit all the story beats in Mulan, but they're doing it so awkwardly.

Ooooh. I don't remember the individual planets that well. There's a second pkaythrough with all planets. It might be better the second time.

Spoiler for Hidden:
I forgot Pirates of the Caribbean is in KH 2.

"This isn't a trinket, it's a coin given to Cortez himself."

"I don't believe in ghost stories"

It's lines like that, which don't make any sense.

They're familiar to someone who has watched the movie, but they basically stripped out the context so the second line doesn't make any sense. Because it's responding to something that wasn't said.
