I work at No Frills which is a grocery store and I stock items. Start College on September 3 but I'll still be working just so I can help pay for my school.

I work at Metro.  It's how I paid for school.  That and summer camps.

the sad thing is, people dont value those who work jobs that help others on a daily basis. waiters are often treated wrong, but look at how much they help and serve others in a day. people love fast food, but they sadly, sometimes mock those people working at it. people like DirtyP disgust me.

It might not have been DirtyP, it might have been that other guy with the P in his avatar.  Either one of the two, I don't have that thread in my buddy anymore.  Though that's what I was trying to argue.  Like, according to him, engineers should be paid way more money because they have school.  Yet without workers, we'd all be living in caves looking at plans.  Plans that always have flaws until the workers have to look at them and notice some of what they drew can't be done in real life.  Plus there's only so few jobs like that with so many people who have degrees.  I mean, look at ryan, he has 3 degrees and is working at Walmart.  Like, I'm not saying Engineers and the like shouldn't be paid top dollars, but not that much more than everyone else.  As someone else in that thread pointed out, we should be working to live, not living to work.

Anyone who works should be paid a living wage. There should never be a time where we debate whether or not someone who is actually going to their job day in and day out deserves to make enough money to survive based on the living expenses of their area. I'm really getting fed up with a system that rewards greed and punishes people who just want to live.
Shut up, communist

Before switching over to game development, I was studying to become a mechanical engineer.

Naturally, I disagree with you :)
