so sad he's retiring this account.

I like it, but the transition should have been smoother. Or last of us should have gone last as a one more thing. Where people leaving would have been funneled into that room.

i just can't get over how slick TLOU 2 animations are.  fudgy top of the line as usual

He's leaving on top of his game, that's for sure.

also we can crawl under cars in the game which is awesome.

oh shame looking back at the beginning of Ghosts you can see rain streaking the clouds in the distance.  Draw distance is fantastic.

I'm thinking Ellie's gf(?) gets killed and the game is her revenge mission

DD_Bwest

fireflies kill the gf in a search for her,  she goes on revenge and ends up finding the truth

It'd be kind of funny if it went the other way around this time.
Spoiler for Hidden:
Joel follows Ellie this time, and we get a part where you play as Joel and have to save Ellie

Sorry I ducked out. My internet gave up and could barely keep TLOU above 360p. Ended up just playing the conference a few minutes behind.

I loved that they tried something new this year. It at least keeps E3 interesting and will be fun to remember when looking back. Not the best show.

TLOU2 from what I could see: holly balloon it's like a preview of what games will be like in the future. Those animations are insane. Almost every time Ellie did something it felt like a cutscene was starting since all the animations made sense and fit within the world. Killer showing and I feel kinda silly for not expecting ND to blow me away.

Ghost: cool. Kinda looks like it's HUB based ala the new Tomb Raiders. Was open world feeling at the beginning but then became linear. The gameplay looked great against general enemies but the fight at the end was whatever. Writing did not seem that good. Hard to follow TLOU2 but also the camera placement and cuts felt videogamy.

Death Stranding: need to rewatch. Walking animation was janky and put me in a lower mood for the rest. Not sure I liked it, but I definitely loved parts of it. Gameplay didn't look that interesting.

Spiderman: it's amazing. Combat didn't look that fun but obviously I wasn't playing it for myself.

Better show than last year. Second worst E3 for Sony this gen. They did good with the first party games they had but they could of done better with the structure. The remedy game also had a poor reveal because at that point I was still thinking it might not have any 3rd party stuff outside intermissions.

Fun fact:
In the same time span that Square Enix had their entire conference, Sony only showed off 1 game.

Pretty much agree completely with you.

As expected I'm seeing lots of people saying "waaaaaaaah forced agendas" and "stop with the SJW battleship" in comments sections. That's not surprising. What is good to see though, is all of those comments are bombarded by people shutting them down with reasonable arguments. Seems like this game has a large amount of sensible fans, and the triggered conservatives are only a tiny minority.

Ghost of Tsushima looks more Assassin's Creed than Odyssey.
