Eh, questionable decision. Especially when they just released a new revision a few months ago. So I'm guessing 2020, perhaps early in the year.

Yeah it came across like a joke. XBox One X released half a year ago. Why would you need to tease new hardware again.

I didn't realise this and I'm probably missing something, but they only announced games from their main IPs. Shocking we didn't get at least a sequel to a different IP.

I just realised how bad it must feel for people who just bought XB1X to be told that they're working on next gen already. Like yeah, we're already moving on from you, soz. If they announced it this early surely they'll go for a 2019 release as well...

I came out of this show thinking it was near great, but it's dropping.

At least the one great thing they managed was showing they're not giving up. Xbox isn't comfortable in 3rd place.

Nah 2019 is way too early I think and we already know that even sony's worst still matches xbox's best. Ps3 matched xbox 360 even with a year later release.

They announced Xbox One X 1.5 years before release. They could totally announce the next xbox officially in 2019 but release in 2020. They want people to put their dreams on how great the future could be.

Also seems the Dontnod life is strange game is not a game but a demo/teaser for Life is Strange 2. Makes sense why it's free.

It's the same shame every year with them though. "We're not giving up! We're going to give you new IPs in our old IPs. Oh by the way we're going to be hosting half of Sony's conference for the next 30 minutes. Oh and we have new hardware for you cause the old hardware wasn't selling and for those who bought the old hardware? Thanks for your money, I bought a yacht with it."

Singleplayer sure.

I just mean money wise. They aren't dropping out of gaming.
