EA Play 2018 conference live thread

Yeah glad I didn't waste my time watching this conference.  Kinda watched IGN as the announcements came in.  Nothing exciting.  Gonna watch the anthem gameplay.

Yeah graphics look dope, but I didn't see anything that screamed "holy shame I have to have this!".  Days Gone day 1 instead of this for sure!

I couldn't as I had that graduation open house thingy.  I'll watch all the others.  Some others I'll just put on in the background as noise.

Them not focusing on PvP makes me a little more hyped for this.  Who knows I'll probably buy both anyway.

Sounds a little skimpy on content. Not a long term problem since it's GaaS, but might be bad at launch.

I'd imagine PvP will be in an update.

Anthem just killed it before launch... a lot of features lacking for a game that wants to eat the Destiny's cake.

No PVP is a big mistake.

Yeah I watch all that I can make. Usually on discord with some friends which makes it more entertaining.

Anthem looks like it could be pretty fun, but I could see it becoming a little annoying trying to navigate tunnels like they showed in the demo. I know I'd try flying high in the air and just dropping into the target area.

It was cool, but why they just flying past that thing? If they are flying past, why bother shooting? Eh w/e, just standard gameplay show off stuff.

Yeah it was a bad demo imo. Just flew past this cool thing and ended before the spider monster fight. Now that I'm going through and analysing, I'm starting to feel the hype.

Bet we'll get a boss fight at the MS show.

Yeah I'm really liking the look of anthem I just want to see more. That gameplay showing was shame, we never got more than a few seconds uncut.

Anthem at MS would be great, I need to see more. We know we're getting BFV too. Starting to see how its over 100 mins.

Yeah, but in that case you wouldn't shoot a load of rockets at it right? This tells me either ammo isn't an issue in this, which would be weird, or it was just something they did to show off some cool rockets in a gameplay section...
