Microsoft at E3 for a few years now has focused on multiplats and non huge exclusives. However Phil Spencer has been hyping up new games since taking over and some insiders are saying big games are coming.

So in your opinion, which is the next E3 they'll drop some bombs with huge exclusive reveals?

This year? 2019? Nextbox release year? Never?

I'm gonna be optimistic and say there will be 2 decently big games this year.

Even though deep down, I'm not feeling it until next year.

There's got to be something this year. You'd think its been too long since the last Halo.

There is gonna be a halo announced and released this year.

If you haven't been keeping up with the rumors, Halo and Gears are both getting spinoffs. Those seem likely for this E3.

What rumors? And what type of spin offs? Are they developed by 343 and the coalition?

Gears spinoff is by splashdamage, the devs who have helped/did multiplayer in the past. It's known about from job listings and I guess insiders. Might not be a spinoff but it's pretty much confirmed there is a gears game coming.

Don't know the source for the Halo news but most xbox fans on resetera are treating it like a fact, similar to the new Fable. So it's more shakey than the gears spinoff.

Are you suggesting these won't be system sellers then?

We will have to wait and see, unlike a normal Halo 6 that we know would be treated as a huge announcement.

Well true. Plus they likely won't be full exclusives.

Microsoft will never make an Xbox exclusive again unless they give up on the windows 10 store. That'll be pretty weird with their next gen launch.

They really should just go 3rd party if this is their philosophy. I don't understand why they're focusing on "a sale is a sale regardless of platform" yet ignoring additional platforms.

No clue. Might just be MS announcing they bought the IP.
