Or it did awful in the U.K. and U.S. for that?  There's a very good guess that U.S. retailers have been stuffed.  For the U.K. considering that the PS4 managed to outsell the Xbox One's November and December sales in December alone is telling of how slow Xbox One sales got.  The likely scenario is 9.5 sell through with 11 shipped.  Hell the sell through might be less, considering 1.5 million on shelves is only on the high end of normal stock.
No you misunderstood the UK thing, PS4 Nov+Dec>XB1 Nov+Dec... XB1 sales are very close to PS4 in UK. I can see 9.5m being possible, it just seems low

Not if I'm remembering the press release right :P. But I'm too lazy to check.

I know the PS4 outsold the X1 overall for November and December in the UK but did they really manage to outsell the X1 Nov/Dec numbers in December alone?

Honestly that wouldn't be too far out there. The X1 tanked, relatively speaking, after the holiday launch. It had sold 3 million by the beginning of 2014. It didn't even ship 5 million until the end of the first calendar quarter that year and we know it had plenty of stock. We know that its sales during April and May were bad. We know that the Summer wasn't much kinder overall. We know that in the US it sold a little over 2 million consoles during the holidays but we also know that the console was bombing in pretty much every country where English wasn't the primary language. So if we take the confirmed launch sales and add them to the US holidays sales, that's a little over 5 million total. Then we can estimate that the console sold probably 2.5 million between January and October 2014 in the US. So that puts us a little over 7.5 million. I don't think it's a stretch at all to say the console might not have sold much more than 2 million outside the US all year long.

December PS4 sales were not > XB1 Nov+Dec. It was Nov+Dec PS4>Nov+Dec XB1 and XB1 Nov> PS4 Nov

We have all numbers from the US too

Yes but considering the Xbox One out sold the ps4 in November the ps4 had to outsell the Xbox One's November surplus in December alone. Was it? I guess not. Must have been close though.

That's right, PS4 and XB1 sold very similarly in November and December in the UK, that's for sure.

Dying Light is actually outselling Evolve on steam. Dying light seems to be doing well and Evolve is slipping in sales.
All aboard the hype train.

Not surprising.  Just look at the reviews.
66% approve of Evolve, mixed.
90% approve of Dyling Light.  Very Positive.

A lot of those mixed reviews are because of the dlc. I think the negative publicity about the dlc hurt this game and goes to show you can lose money for being too obtrusive with it.
All aboard the hype train.

EVOLVE STARTS LIFE AT NO1
16/Feb/2015

The All Formats chart receives a much needed boost with 2K/Take 2's 'Evolve' leading the pack of new debutants and taking the No1 crown.

Xbox One just edges the format share by a mere 1% with fewer than 400 sales between the two Gen 8 versions, while PC accounts for just 3% of boxed units. For Take 2 it's their first chart topping title that's not part of the Grand Theft Auto franchise since 'Bioshock Infinite' back in March 2013. With the release of new Nintendo 3DS & 3DS XL consoles giving a 57% boost to hardware this week, it's no surprise that two new 3DS titles debut in the Top 5. 'The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D' lands at No2 and is the biggest selling single format title of the week. 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' (+14%) is forced down to third place despite promotions driving strong sales. The second monster hunting title in the chart this week is the aptly named 'Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate', which makes its mark at No4. The title's week 1 sales are an impressive 95% up on predecessor 'Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate' as the series starts to gain real traction in the West. 'Grand Theft Auto V' (-7%) and 'FIFA 15' (-1%) are both down 3 places to No5 and No6 respectively.
A colossal sales push driven by retailer promotions pushes Ubisoft's 'Far Cry 4' (+128%) up two places to No7. Familiar face 'Minecraft: Xbox Edition' (-13%) is at No8 although 'Minecraft: PlayStation Edition' (-9%) slips to No11. Assassin's Creed: Unity' (-16%) and 'Destiny' (+3%) round off the Top 10 at No9 and No10.

Yes but this is what you said: "For the U.K. considering that the PS4 managed to outsell the Xbox One's November and December sales in December alone is telling of how slow Xbox One sales got"
Both were close in Nov+Dec
