PS4 needs to sell 387k in 17 weeks to cross 5m the same week as ps3. That's an average of 22.7k. PS4 should be nicely ahead of this average for the next 4 weeks or so bringing it even lower.  

I think ps4 has a really good chance of matching the ps3. Super close battle though.

16 weeks to do before PS3... 17 weeks will be the same week than PS3.

387k / 16 = ~24k

I think this avg. will down a lot in the next months and PS4 will comfortable cross 5 million about 4-5 weeks early than PS3.

Well I guess Windows central rounded down for the ps4 instead of up like they did for the xbox. Not surprised really.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they didn't "get it wrong" but rather deliberately rounded it wrong to paint Sony in a worse light, not massively surprising since Windowscentral is essentially a MS marketing outlet and Jez Corden is essentially a giant fanboy.
