Xbox One - 99,496
PlayStation 4 - 74,500
Nintendo Wii U - 3,500

Should probably give you guys a good idea for October NPD.

This company....

"We don't consider hardware sales as an important metric to measure our success by anymore.... What? We're winning again? Oh shame better shout that from the rooftops"

Btw. I find it interesting that MS didn't win August and only managed such a narrow victory in September (it's almost a statistical tie really).

I didn't know MS didn't win August in the UK. I guess the hardware trends in the UK and US aren't as close as I thought.

I still think the XB1 will win October NPD albeit with a smaller margin.

I bet against it, but we'll see I guess. Wonder what the reasons for the bigger UK victory in October for the X1 were. Gears bundles? Battlefield 1 bundles? Pro anticipation? General awfulness of Slim offerings from Sony in the UK (I don't think they even have an official bundle for the Slim available right now)? Probably a combination of all 4.

Wow titanfall 2 is a major flop.  the first game iced it up for the series.  lol

Anticipation of the Pro, for sure. On GAF, people mentioned how the XB1 has a wider selection of bundles than the PS4, so that also comes into play.

Best-Selling Forza Horizon 3 Unveils New Content and... is that snow? - Xbox Wire

Forza Horizon 3 is the best selling racing game of 2016, edging out crazy competition such as.... Driveclub VR?

Man, the need to brag about sales is so ridiculous with this company.

ethomaz

DerNobel your comment is really pertinent... I'm trying to make a list of the racing games released in 2016.

F1 2016? And? And?

C'mon there are some more, no?

EA: PS4/XB1 digital download rate of retail games now at 30% for the industry - NeoGAF

QuoteEA itself is at 29% due to FIFA selling well in a lot of countries with lower download rates.

Blake J. Jorgensen - Electronic Arts, Inc.
And Ben, on your other two questions, on full-game downloads, we finished our fiscal 2016 around 24% of all of our games. And as we've talked about publicly, we lag the industry by one or two points primarily because FIFA is such a large global product. It has huge share in some marketplaces where full-game downloads, due to bandwidth or credit card capabilities, are not – it impacts that business there.

Blake, are those console games, or PC also?
Blake J. Jorgensen - Electronic Arts, Inc.Excuse me. This is Gen 4-only consoles, sorry. Obviously, PC skews it. 75% to 80% of all PC games are full-game downloads. That pulls the numbers up. We think the industry is going be probably by calendar year end around 30%. And our internal estimates are around 29% for ourselves, once again, slight lag with the industry. But as I said, I think we're seeing positive trends on all of that, so that's good.

Man physical numbers get more useless every year.
