Ps4 #1 in Japan yet again and stayed over 30k for another week.  It's 2016 Japan sales have been superb.

A HTC Vive representative claims the company has sold in excess of 140,000 units.

The figure was spotted by Tech Crunch in a news brief from Chinese VR specialist site 87870. Back in August, HTC's China regional president for VR Alvin Grayling claimed the firm had sold 100,000 units, but chairman Cher Wang told 87870 this figure is now well over 140,000.

140,000 worldwide in 6 months vs 51,000 in just Japan in a week.  

Holy frick.

Not "BS", but slightly meaningless.  

What I mean by "Wouldn't read too much into it" is that it's very likely that "Far exceeds 140k" means that it's still under 200k.

Wow so Vive still under 200k. Psvr did 20% of its lifetime sales in Japan on launch. Sony has approached vr right and are the only ones seeing success right out the gate.

Chartz has fifa on ps4 selling around 3.75m for the week.  Now they base this on the numbers we have for the UK and Germany and estimate France,  Spain,  Italy,  Greece plus the others I'd imagine.  

So there's a high chance this number is accurate or close enough.  Anybody thing fifa ps4 really sold this much in the EU?  

It seems insanely high!

Fifa is crazy in Europe. Plus, ps4 gets almost all the share outside the uk

Less than that but it got a big increase this year,  probably because it has a sort of campaign story mode for once and they improved on most of 16's failings apart from penalties.

I know people don't trust chartz but the source for this is official trackers like chart track in the UK and Germany.  The game has officially seen big growth in all the major EU markets.  and it's numbers were already huge.

Makes it credible it actually sold this much which is crazy.
