UC4 is now the 8th best selling gaming item of 2016 on Amazon.com, having overtaken all gaming SKUs aside from Zelda Twilight Princess HD and the Division on PS4, all that a week before launch.

Based on impressions of those who have played the game early, not only will UC4 launch at high numbers, but it will also have great legs.

Yes, mine are quite excellent.  Aren't they?

Vgchartz,  "you only say it needs to be adjusted because of NeoGAF. How can we trust them?" (basically).

Nah some other dude, best thing was that he said NPD leaks are too low based on Amazon rankings.

Because in Bayonetta 2's case it's not probably overtracked. We know it's overtracked. Of course many games are under and overtracked on VGC but usually they get adjusted according to the information we have. So games which we have no official or leaked numbers can't be randomly changed. But we know Bayonetta 2 is 182k as of November 28th 2015 in the US according to NPD. VGC has it at nearly 500k at the same point in time. That's 300k overtracked in a single territory or 275% lol

But that's not original source NPD data - that's NeoGaf claiming to have NPD data. It could be real, or could be made up and not what NPD really has on file. And as good as NPD can be, they can and will at times be wrong.

 Fact: Bayo 2 hit #9 for Amazon monthly October 2014, behind only Smash 3DS, CoD, and PSN giftcards. (Ahead of Shadow of Mordor! Halo!) Only selling 180k seems a bit far-fetched - even if Amazon isn't 100% representative of all game-buying, correct?

Hang on, DAT overtracking lol.
Worst part is that people have complained many many times and yet nobody cares to adjust.

QuoteYou should all probably note that US sales on VGChartz are basically 2x higher than they're supposed to be.

*Le chertz has real numbers, just divide the US numbers in half, leave the Japanese numbers and multiply the European numbers by K*
*K is the integral of F*
F =C * e^-t^2
Where of course C is whatever it feels like, it could even be another function.  It doesn't matter though, because K is non elementary, and must be estimated through numerical methods.

Quote from: darkknightkryta on May 04, 2016, 03:09 PMSad thing is, we've known that since practically launch.
The fact that we've had confirmation of this games' overtracking in the US since launch and that vgchartz still hasn't bothered adjusting accordingly was one of the first signs that ioi just doesn't give a shame anymore. Same with Driveclub in the US (though it's a little more difficult there overall, since we do have the game hitting a 2 million milestone already)

ioi only does hardware since mid last year... and yes he abandoned chertz.
