Well, if you think the number of days won't make that much of a difference, how about the amount of marketing each game received? QB had way more marketing than R&C and on top of that, appeared in every E3 since 2013.

actually it didnt appear at either E3 2014 and E3 2015, because MS held it back to be shown at gamescom for both those years

Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break will not be at E3 2015 | VG247

dont get me wrong, i would have thought that QB would have opened bigger than Ratchet, but its more QB flopping than Ratchet doing amazing. Ratchet did very very outstanding for a R&C game, that is for sure. but compared to other openings, it wasnt ready that big of a hit, actually on the small to low side of sales. but no doubt considering the game, genre and specific franchise, Sony and insomniace are happy with the sales, as they should be.

Quote from: AbdielHmm, it's up!

So. Quantum Break bundle went over like a dead fish. IE, with a wet thud. Even less impressive than the Division bundle, as far as I could tell, and that was depressing. Every bundled picked up was accompanied by a trade in of an existing system, so it seemed like it went along with just people wanting the white model. No shame there though, I did the same thing with my launch PS4 with the Destiny bundle, except I sold mine to a friend instead of a trade in.

PS4 lead without much fanfare. QB didn't do anything to move the needle as far as system sales. Overall, a pretty bland month. Ratchet seeing more momentum than expected after a muted start with the positive word of mouth and budget pricing, though the movie doesn't seem to be doing so hot with reviewers, so, that's a bust.

Official confirmation finally.

Guess we might get another Ratchet in the future!
Possibly, hopefully the thing doesn't turn around and the movie pulls the game down.

Don't think it will harm the game. It just won't help it as it should have. The game still good and word of mouth is string.

Yay! Go Ratchet and Clank! From what I've played so far it definitely deserves it. Excellent game.
