Tool doesn't work so all i could get was the difference between September NPD and all of NA at the end of October (chartz)
1,239M PS4s (in NA, not just US)
1.05M X1s (also whole of NA)

Gotta remove what's outside US, both before and during October to get "their US numbers".
And PS4 = 29.3M shipped September, 27.7M sold through after October, sounds legit.

Hardware YoY works, chartz has the PS4 winning October NPD and both X1 and PS4 more or less flat month over month, with only about 8-9k more on both sides. But it's the chartz so who knows.
